THE CODE

HOW THIS STARTS

You send the brief

A document, a Figma link or one honest paragraph is enough.

We reply with questions

Within one working day, from the engineer who would do the work.

You get a written scope

Milestones and dates in writing. Nothing is billed until you approve it.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Everything below is in the base scope

Not add-ons, not phase two. If it is on this list it is written into the agreement.

Process discovery

We map how the work happens today before proposing software for it.

Architecture & planning

A technical design document with trade-offs stated in plain language.

Incremental delivery

Working software every two weeks, not a big-bang launch.

Legacy modernisation

Strangler-pattern migrations that keep the old system running.

Testing & QA

Automated tests where they earn their keep, manual QA where they do not.

Deployment & handover

Infrastructure as code, documentation and developer onboarding.

NEED SOMETHING ELSE?

Tell us the one thing this list is missing

We scope it separately so you can see exactly what it involves before deciding.

OUR STANDARDS

Twelve things we never charge extra for

These are not upsells. They are how we build, whether the project is one page or one platform.

Lifetime bug support

If something we built breaks, we fix it — no time limit, no invoice for our own mistakes.

A named project manager

One contact who knows the code, not a rotating account handler.

Responsive by default

Mobile, tablet and desktop are in the base price — never a separate line item.

Clean, commented code

Readable structure and comments where intent is not obvious, so your next developer is not lost.

Retina & high-DPI ready

Assets served at the right density in modern formats, so nothing looks soft on good screens.

Accessibility built in

Semantic markup, keyboard paths, focus states and contrast checked against WCAG AA.

Speed as a requirement

Core Web Vitals are a pass/fail item on our checklist, measured on real mobile hardware.

Works with any CMS

WordPress, headless or your own admin — content stays editable by non-developers.

Cross-browser tested

Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge on real devices before anything is called done.

Version control & CI

Every change reviewed in a pull request, deployed by pipeline, reversible in one click.

Security hygiene

Audited dependencies, encrypted secrets, least-privilege access and automated backups.

Documented handover

A written runbook plus a walkthrough call, so your team can run it without us.

SERVICE-SPECIFIC EXTRAS

The details that decide whether this works

The extras that come up in almost every project like this — written into the scope, not discovered halfway.

Code audit

A written risk list on an inherited codebase before anyone promises a date.

Team augmentation

Our engineers inside your repos, your reviews and your board.

Knowledge transfer

Sessions with your developers so the system never depends on us.

SELECTED SAMPLE

A real project, and what it changed

Legacy modernisation, services firm

An eight-year-old system migrated module by module with no downtime and documentation written as we went.

Source code in your repository from commit one
Technical design and architecture documentation
Automated test suite and CI pipeline
Deployment scripts and environment docs
Knowledge transfer with your developers

HOW IT RUNS

Complicated inside, simple for you

STEP 01

Discovery & quote

A 45-minute call, then a written scope with a fixed price and dates inside 24 hours.

STEP 02

Development

Two-week sprints on a live staging link, reviewed by a second engineer before every merge.

STEP 03

Review

You test against the scope. Anything that misses it is fixed at no cost — that is the job, not a revision.

STEP 04

Launch & care

Documented handover, then monitoring, updates and support for as long as you want us.

Step one is a 45-minute call — free, no obligation, and useful even if you go elsewhere afterwards.

DELIVERABLES

Exactly what lands on handover day

No chasing, no “we’ll send it later”. You own everything from the first commit — code, docs and accounts.

✓

Will you sign an NDA or non-disclosure agreement?

YES

✓

Do you offer unlimited revisions inside the agreed scope?

YES

✓

Do you offer rush delivery when we have a launch date?

YES

✓

Can you work from Figma, XD, Sketch, PSD or PDF designs?

YES

✓

Will we own the source code and all the accounts?

YES

✓

Will you host the project and manage the domain for us?

YES

✓

Can you support the project after launch?

YES

✓

Can you take over a project another team started?

YES

Can you work with our in-house developers?

Yes — we join your repos, review rules and board, and hand knowledge over as we go.

Our system is old and undocumented. Can you help?

That is a common starting point. We audit it, document it and modernise in safe increments.

Will we be locked in?

No. Standard tools, documented code, your infrastructure.

How do you keep scope honest?

Every change request is quoted before work starts.
